Source says Turkey expects accords signed during Putin’s visit
ANKARA, Aug 3 (PRIME) -- Ankara and Moscow may sign accords on cooperation during the upcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Turkey, a source in the Turkey’s presidential administration told PRIME on Thursday.
The administration said earlier that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Putin agreed on a visit to Turkey, but the date was not scheduled yet.
When asked about the possibility of accords signed during the visit, the source said, “It is entirely possible.”
Relations between the countries ensure fruitful cooperation in all directions, and it would become clear in what spheres the two countries could expand their cooperation prior to the presidential visit.
“These (accords) are possible in many spheres ranging from energy cooperation to cooperation in the sphere of putting out forest fires, the efficiency of which we have seen lately,” the source said.
